The Better Business Bureau in the U.S. released a statement this January warning consumers to be wary of website offering acai berry-related weight loss products, saying it has received “thousands” of complaints from consumers.
THE SO CALLED “FREE TRIAL” CAN COST YOU A LOT OF MONEY!!!

When you agree to the “free trial” and don’t cancel your account in the 14 days, you will be charge monthly! In many cases, when customers try to contact the company and cancel their subscriptions, they are forced to sit for more than an hour on hold. Plus, some consumers have complained of unauthorized charges on their credit card or bank accounts for products they did not order and were eventually forced to close bank accounts and cancel credit cards to stop the charges.
FALSE TESTIMONIES

I used to try to get plant sterols from my diet, but then i read that you have to drink like 3 and 1/2 glasses of soy milk or 25 tablespoons of soy margarine to get that!! That is a LOT of margarine for someone who’s watching their weight. Sterolyn gives me all that by only taking 2 capsules. Works for me.
I had the same problem, and called them within the 15 days window to cacel the crap they sent me…and they charged me over $160. I’m warning everyone to STAY AWAY from the so called ACAI BERRY SUPPLEMENTS especially from NUTRISCIENCE….it’s a SCAM. They somehow got access to my yahoo messenger and were sending stupid e mails to everyone on my mailing list…that was a criminal act, and i called them to stop it or i will file a lawsuit against them!
